Student current account

This survey contains up-to-date information on the main student current accounts available from individual firms. See our children and student accounts section for more student account information.

Most banks offer once off offers such as free mobile phones if you open an account with them. But don’t choose an account just for the freebies - no matter how good they are. It is important to get a good rate of interest and low fees and charges, so that you can make the most of your money over a few years.
